Season 2 I Survived a Japanese Game Show
Season One of ISAJGS, please excuse my nasty hair, it was a post competition look, I swear
I watched the season 2 ISAJGS premiere last night. I had to compare the new season with last years. Would this year's cast be as riveting as our season was? Obviously, I have a bias...but I will try to be as non-partial as humanly possible while respecting my contract with ABC which forbids me from talking about any "inside" stuff until the rest of my natural life or something.
The first thing I noticed about this year was that the fat guy was much fatter. There was a lot more spandex and lube. They had a younger old guy. And to top it off they also had a contestant named Justin and one named Megan, just like season 1.
The role of the requisite reality bitch was played by Kimberly. She was skinny and had huge boobs, so for some reason she kept talking about how beautiful she was and how she was basically above everyone else. Oh, she also had the impressive pedigree of being a Junior Olympian, so she should have had the physical and mental edge on the other contestants. If that was the case she definitely didn't prove it.
She really took bitch to the next level. She was so over the top it was repulsive. Refusing to participate in the punishment, because she was too good looking? Really? Ew
I mean she made the Staten Island Diva from our season look like a humanitarian. For the record the Staten Island Diva is really cool in "real" life so its possible that Kimberly could be a nice person.
I'm not going to lie though, I felt a combination of joy and relief when underdog Yari sent her packing
in the elimination challenge. The elimination challenge was a deja vu from last season's premiere where the elimination game was similarly bug themed and also tied.
Maybe they'll bring her back...
I have no favorites yet. I can't let myself get emotionally invested until the third episode, its like the third date the panties fly off...

That girl was really a bitch, I don't think I would have watched it anymore if she didn't get kicked off.
I missed my favorite contestant last night...it just wasn't the same without you.
I can only hold on to the hope that one day they have a real world road rules challenge type of Majide, and they invite us back. I would like to exact my revenge. OOOOPS, Did I really say that? Just when you think you've moved on.
