I Survived a Japanese Game Show Season 2 episode 2 recap...
Wednesday, June 24, 2009 RED ROBOTS CHOKE GREEN MONKEY'S DOMINATE
Ok, so last nights episode of ISAJGS, was entertaining, sort of. I'm having a hard time caring about any of the contestants because I feel like there isn't a lot of character development, in fact, I seriously think the contestant Brent (with the dreadlocks) only spoke once the entire episode. Also I'm so pissed that they get to have TWO games before the elimination game, we only had one, SO NOT FAIR. Every episode contestants have two chances to prove themselves, and that shit could have come in handy, lets say if you ate shit on a treadmill a bazillion times in the first game and needed redemption....
In the first game the contestants got into a huge pair of pants together. Then tennis balls were shot at them at high speeds, while they tried to pick the balls up with a claw and put them in the pants. The Red Team went first they did good, but the green team beat them by two balls (literally). Yari was actually doing the best on the Red team but for whatever reason the two tall blonde guys are total twats, and in the tradition of men who have bigger egos than athletic talent they act like she did nothing. Lets not even mention that one of them spent half the game trying to catch the tennis balls with his bare hands unsuccessfully. SO ANNOYING.
And then omigosh, there is an announcement there will be another game RIGHT after....this game involves a treadmill, pink spandex, flour, tutu's you know the usual Japanese flair. Its no surprise that the red team gets its ass kicked once again. I would say their loss is because the Twat's have the worse attitudes and are stressing the others out, but this time the Twats blame Yari and the Librarian. Jamie goes along with the twats even though it would have been better game play for the 3 underdogs to vote the alpha males into the elimination game, because lets face it Red Robots, you are not going to win any games might as well knock off the toughest competition...
The reward is a baseball game and the punishment is working at a golf course...ho hum. The punishments are way more boring this season, thats for sure.
Back to game play Yari and the Librarian are voted into elimination. The poor librarian guy says something like "I'm going to do this for all the Librarians out there." A little piece of my heart broke and fell to the ground. I like you librarian, I really do but if that is your battle cry...you may be fucked.
The elimination game was the best of the day, it involved an obstacle course with eggs, a wrestling singlet a lot of lube and making love to a sumo wrestler. In true to real life fashion Yari the female takes longer to get done than the male Librarian, even though she is thoroughly lubricated. Its back to the USA for Yari....
I'm not really surprised. I still like Megan and Bob the best followed by the librarian. Also on my hot list: Bob's scarf (but I digress). I really hope the annoying girl Linda on the green team that keeps talking about how beautiful and bad ass she is, gets the boot soon I can't take it. Now that Kimberly has been eliminated there was an opening for a bitch on the show and Linda decided to seize it? Ugh... I found myself rooting for the red team because I wanted her yap to be silenced... damn.
On a related side note, I cannot find any action pics from this season.....why?

Ok I'm going to come clean. The show was sweet because you were on it and I had personal interest in it. But now that your not involved I'm going to be honest. It is hands down one of the worst if not the worst TV shows I have ever seen haha
I didn't get to see lasts years, and I'm not going to watch this years either.
I've learned that I can't log onto the Whoracle until I've watched the episode on abc.com. Your recaps are hilarious and dead on, but if I haven't seen it, it's a huge spoiler! So if I don't comment for a few days at the end of the week, forgive me. It's because I haven't yet gotten caught up and I don't want to know who gets the boot!
Oh, as for "eating shit on a treadmill," I'd forgotten about that. Still, you were a rock star (in my humble opinion, of course).
i totally have not been watching. am i just that big of a bitch that i have no desire to watch if im not on?? LOL
