HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE CORPORATE WHORACLE

TODAY IS OUR BIRTHDAY!!!

Last New Year's I was sitting around with a couple of friends and I told them about this idea I had for a blog. I made it a resolution, and in a somewhat shocking conclusion....I kept the resolution!!! In the beginning I would get about 30 readers a day. Now days I average 350, I'm no Dooce but I'm working on it. I will have the occasional days where my viewers are in the thousands... and no one is more surprised about that than me.

My biggest challenge has been what to write about. I'm not sure whether my readers prefer the personal stuff or rants that I go on... I do know that people on reality TV sure do get mad at me a time or two, you have never truly blogged until you receive a vulgar and threatening email from a person on TV.

When I started this blog I was a corporate whore, then I got laid off, then I spent a glorious summer on the beach with my daughters collecting unemployment. I started working on my Lay Off List,  and I feel like I've been frozen on that list for months now...I'm really going to have to step it up this year. 

Any-lets-not-get-all-deep-way, I would just like to say thank you to all my readers. You are all wonderful treasures to me. Even those of you who are WAY too chicken to comment, and even those of you who leave comments about what a bitch I am.. I love you too. I apologize for the times when you check out my blog and I'm hung over or shepherding children  and "forget" to post something new, it doesn't mean I don't care... I hope that you will stick it out with me!!! I have a lot of new plans for the new year.

Thanks again!!! And please feel free to leave me some suggestions for what kinds of topics you would like me to cover more often....

happy birthday to my favorite blog! congrats, SQ! keep doing what you're doing - i love your coverage of the cougar-rights movement, plus all the north-idaho cultural commentary. oh, and all the reality-show episode recaps. :)
