And All Of the Sudden Sleeping Just Became Impossible...

This is either the SWEETEST thing I've ever seen or the freakiest, my mind can't decide.

So my middle child, in her middle child way talked us into getting her a bunny. I fought this making her undergo a series of tasks that took over 6 months...if she completed this seemingly impossible list of demands she could have the rabbit. The tasks included researching rabbits, a report on rabbits, interviewing rabbit owners, breed research, and a persuasive speech/performance. Needless to say she earned herself a rabbit...

I never really liked rabbits. Yes they are cute and soft and vegetarian...but they bite and they move quickly and make me nervous. That was until Thumper entered our lives. Thumper is my new best friend and the easiest, cleanest, quietest pet I've ever had. I now hate my dogs.  Seriously, my dogs who wake me up all night long and rip the pants off our neighbor have nothing on that sweet little bunny prince. Sorry dog lovers~you find me a dog that doesn't bark and shits non-offensive dry pellets and maybe I'll change my mind.

To get back to the original point though, I am now obsessed with rabbits and have a small youtube rabbit video addiction. I didn't realize that rabbits could get so large, and now I am considering buying Thumper a treadmill. And because I can't resist here is Thump's first video (please disregard the poor production value it was on my cell phone, and also the freak talking in the background she's lost her mind):

Do your dogs harass your bunny? I fear my crazed lab mix would want to play with a bunny 24/7.

The bunny is scary to my big dogs. He has beady little eyes and his hopping freaks them out they literally will watch him and then go run to their beds for safety. My big dogs hate other dogs and people but for whatever reason they like cats, I think they might thing thumper is some sort of cat.
Our pug however, she is best friends with him, they chase each other around the coffee table for hours.

That's awesome! Bunny's and dogs getting along. Maybe we CAN all get along in the world after all, eh? I, for one, am up for trying. Carry on.
